I have know Ed for several years as a friend and professional. He has written two saxophone pieces for me and I can say both are of the highest quality!
I am the Artistic Director of the Minnesota Sinfonia and over the past fifteen years, I have commissioned and performed three works by Ed with the Sinfonia. The works have been very well conceived and crafted, and very well received by our audiences, and our players. The music is clever, accessible and appealing. Regular surveys show that our audiences are from a broad spectrum of the community - we attract large numbers of families bringing their children, seniors, financially well off and those who are less fortunate.
