Hi, I am Don Haynes Owner and President of D & G Automotive of Grand Junction Inc. My experience at auto repair started when I was a "young driver" looking for a mechanic to repair my car. Where I grew up, there were not a lot of people around that really fixed cars, so I became my own mechanic, repairing my own vehicles at first then working on my friends. My formal training includes over 25 years of working in independent repair shops and large dealership service departments. I've received extensive factory sponsored training from 2 Ford dealerships, specializing in drivability diagnostics, electrical, AC, and high-tech repairs. I've also been shop foreman at 2 GM dealerships. I have been an ASE certified Master Technician for 15 years.
