My Dad was such an enthusiastic user of the Plastic embossing DYMO labelers that I kind of tired of it. Now I must say that I'm sharing my Dad's original enthusiasm over my new labeler.
I don't understand the reviewer who complained about the bottom row of keys. They are not a mirror image of the row above. They are staggered like a keyboard. The labels are easy to make and are very neat. It is fast and quiet. I agree the backing is hard to peal off. I found the supplies are easy to find. I am not sure I am allowed to give a store name but its logo is a bullseye.
Labeler should have a "Hold" option which retains last Setting and Format used. Instead, the LetraTag reverts to factory presets requiring one's prefered adjustments be re-entered each time a like label is to be printed. For me, this is an otherwise perfect device!
What a deal for under $30. I use rechargable batteries, so no problem there. Easy to learn how to use. If people understood how to peel the labels, they would like the product more. Just look at the back of the label to see the seam and BEND the label at the seam. Good job DYMO!
Trying to peel the backing from the label leaves a knot in my stomach. The label maker is wonderful except for this irritating issue. I do not see where it is addressed anywhere. I understand there is a small plastic tool available that makes peeling the label much easier. Why isn't this tool included with the label maker?
I like this product because of its storage space. You can store up to 9 (nine) of your most used phrases, so that you never have to type or make unwanted copies that you don't need.
I am using the Dymo LetraTag at work and at home. My daughter is working on a history project and we will be using this to label her poster. At work, I have used it for my files and labeling equipment and anything that needs a label. I have wanted one of these for a long time and glad to finally have it. Will recommend it to everyone!!!
I like the printer but the cutter leaves a lot to be desired. It broke after limited use which makes the machine a lot less useful. I have to manually cut each label, leaving wasted tape on both ends of each label that I print. Very annoying since the rest of the machine works perfectly fine.
I have tried replacing the batteries multiple times. I continue to get a low battery message. The machine acts like it is printing but nothing actually prints out on the label. I am fed up with this machine and unless something changes soon, I will be taking this [*] back for a refund.
I have never had a label maker and so I love it but quite a time consumer peeling labels. Would love labels that peel better. This was a gift from my brother that I wanted.
I thought it would be a great addition to my organizing business but I will be looking for another labeler--I can't spend all day taking the tape out, pulling out extra tape to insure the next label will print out, cutting apart labels because if I cut them off it will jam or not print the next label. Tape is expensive for amount you get. Was disappointed in the product.
I purchased this machine to print iron-on clothing labels for elderly relatives in a nursing home. The machine does not seem able to handle this tape properly because it has a black peel-away thermal transfer overlay that provides the color for the lettering, and apparently the machine has trouble gripping this overlay with its drive wheels. As a result the letters sometimes squish up and are illegible. The tape itself is a joke, AFAIAC. The instructions warn you not to use it on wool, silk, 100% polyester, dark fabrics, waterproof fabrics, fabrics with an uneven surface . . . so by deduction about the only common garment fabric it seems to be of any use for is light-coloured cotton! It is also outrageously priced for a paltry 6.5' length, particularly since you will have to throw out many labels misprinted by the label machine. NOW I understand why I could only find one retailer that actually stocks the fabric tapes!
We use this to make name labels on charts in our office. The older version of DYMO LetraTag was used exclusivley for 3-4 years here and worked great. This is a newer model or version and we have gone through 3, while I still have one of the older ones left. The older ones were less expensive, easy to use and lasted a long time.
I won't buy any more of this newer model.
loved it and wanted to use it all the time so I bought a 9v converter- at [...] to use no work bought one a [...]no work...wish I could plug this thing in
Had the pump just over six months. At first it worked great, but then began to leak on the presta input unless it was shoved really hard down -- by that I mean almost more than a 30mm valve stem. So I... Buzzed for: Ascent Mega Force Floor Pump

I purchased this wagon at Costco Yorba Linda. I believe someone was trying to unload old stock as mine weighs 27 pounds vs the newer 19 pounds. The wagon has an extremely strong chemical smell emitt... Buzzed for: TriGen Group Fold It & Go Portable Wagon -
It's very noisy and the remote control can be hard to use and doesn't have as many controls as I'd like. It's perfectly fine for a little kid though. :/ Buzzed for: Disney Princess DVD Player
