Arrival to Tripoli then a short tour in old city at leisure, lunch
at special typical restaurant, visit of Marc Aurelia arch and

2 TRIPOLI – LEPTIS – TRIPOLI
Breakfast then head to Leptis Magna city (120 km) of Septime
Severe, Leptis-Magna has witnessed its apogee in the 2nd century AD.
Visit of the antique site: the arch of Lucius Septimius Severus
(AD 146-211) theatre, thermes of Hadrian, the steps, Severn forum &
Apse of the Severn basilica, then drive back to Tripoli dinner at restaurant
then overnight at hotel FB / 4*-HOTEL
3 TRIPOLI – SABRATHA – SEBHA
Breakfast then visit of national museum then head to Sabratha city
(100 km), visit of the antique site. The ruins can give you a very clear
image of the Roman life: the forum & the amphitheatre which are
really exceptional, also the temple of Isie, the public baths & the ancient
houses. Lunch at typical restaurant , then domestic flight to Sebha
dinner at restaurant then overnight at hotel. FB / 3*-HOTEL
4 SEBHA - AKAKUS ( AWISS – ADDAD )
Breakfast & cross Sebha by 4WD cars towards Akakus region.
Lunch then visit of the wonderful engravings of MESSAK. Dinner &
overnight at fixed camp. FB /4*- FIXED CAMP
5 AKAKUS
Breakfast & continue to discover Akakus region dotted of fabulous rocky
and sandy landscapes, lunch then go through Addad & Awiss areas
where are the unique pre-historical rocks paintings and engravings:
now in Akakus live only a few families of Tuareg who keep their habits as
nomad tribes and it is not difficult to meet them or their animals all around.
back to fixed camp for dinner & overnight. FB /4*- FIXED CAMP
6 AKAKUS – GERMA – LAKES
Continuation of our excursion to Akakus by 4WD cars. Then visit of the old antique city of Germa then reach the beautiful Duada region: an area dotted of palms and salted lakes with shining water reflecting the beauty of sand dunes around, dinner & overnight at the 4*-star fixed camp. FB /4*- FIXED CAMP
7 LAKES – SEBHA – TRIPOLI
Continuation of excursion into the amazing four lakes in the deep heart of Sahara namely Gabroun, Mafu, Mandara & Oum-al-Maa, lunch on lakes & back to Sebha, flight back to Tripoli, then dinner & overnight at hotel. FB / 4*-HOTEL
8 HOME DESTINATION
Breakfast & departure to home destination.
